Paradise Found...in Vegas
We all know about that standard Vegas experience. You go, you conquer, and then you need to leave immediately before you go insane. After spending any more than 2 days in Vegas we all start to feel a bit claustrophobic - those casino walls start closing in on you, you can't get the slot machine ringing out of your ears, and you feel like the smell of cigarettes has become your natural body odor. Not to mention the constant gaudy flashing lights, zombie-kin feeding the penny slots and overall sterile environment.
What if you could go to Vegas and escape to a tropical paradise, a perfect sanctuary sheltered from the hustle and bustle of the outside city? That's exactly what I did when I found out about Cancun Resort Vegas. This Vegas resort is complete with cascading Mayan waterfalls, luxury beach villas, comfy hammocks swaying in the breeze, and an ice cold drink in your hand at your beckon call.
Somehow this sanctuary exists right off the noisy Vegas strip, as if in some sort of alternate tropical dimension. So, if you somehow get bored of being pampered in luxury all day, you can head out and experience 'normal' Vegas for the night, which we decided to do on the Friday night. After encountering the standard long lines, stale air, loud slots, and drunk college kids, I wished I'd never left my protected sanctuary.
So what does a weekend in paradise cost? Well, as you expect, its normally fairly expensive. However, if you don't mind getting escorted around Cancun Resort for 90 minutes on a timeshare tour, its actually quite affordable. Vacation-Offer.com currently is promoting a Vegas weekend getaway (friday& saturday night) at Cancun Resort Vegas for only $199 total. Not only that, but the deal includes 2 free tickets to a great Vegas show and a free dining experience.
So next time you find yourself debating about whether you want to 'deal' with Vegas for a weekend (as I was doing), debate no longer. Escape to a tropical paradise within Vegas.
