Crippled dog in a Bulgarian village!

On March 26th Dobromir Donchev from Drianovo,Bulgaria found Mima lying  crippled near his home. All four paws of the 5-years -old female dog  were axed. Donchev took Mima to the vet immediately where she was  stabilised. He thinks, the crime was done by a neighbour because of an  old fight. But there is nothing he can do about it.

The dog was adopted by a women from Ruse (other Bulgarian city) and doctors think that there is a solution of the problem and the dog could walk again. Veterinarians say that this is one of the most shoking cases. But it's not the only one, even little 'children'  do such things.

There is no zoo  police in Bulgaria and no proper punishment for such acts. In Bulgaria the cruelty against animals is not taken as a crime, you just pay a fine and that's all.
Bulgarian  people are pleading for justice! Hopefully this case will set the long waited changes of  Bulgarian Law  against Animal abuse.
