    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     sarahklaus21 and friends were driving on the highway south of Mexicali when the earthquake struck. 'The car started to sway back and forth with enough force for us to question if we had blown a tire or if there was something wrong with the road,' she said. 'We finally realized it was an earthquake and pulled over.'

    We were driving on the highway just south of Mexicali when the earthquake started to sway our car back and forth.  We pulled over to watch huge amounts of dust be kicked up in the mountains and ride out the rest of the shaker.
