    7.2 Earthquake hits California/Mexico

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     LatinFocus says he was at a Borders store in San Diego, California, when he felt the April 4 quake. He lives in Alpine and drove to Calexico to check on his family and take pictures. Being farther away and still feeling the quake, he says he can only imagine how strong it was for people near the epicenter. LatinFocus says the quake brought back powerful memories, as his father suffered a heart attack while they were on the phone together during an earthquake in 1987.
