    Cincinnati Union Terminal Ticket Windows

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     ncmassa, who works at the Cincinnati History Museum, had been taking pre-renovation images of the old Union Terminal building (now the museum), so he decided to match it with a photo from the building’s train station days. There’s a man standing in front of the ticket counters in the old image. “He was likely looking at a train schedule. He’s standing there with his luggage getting ready to head back and catch his train,” he said.

    Ticket Windows at Cincinnati Union Terminal. The photo on the left was taken in late 2009 while the right photo was taken in the early 1930's (likely 1933 when the building opened).
