FLOOD DAMAGED DAVENPORT GOES ON WITH THE SHOW
IT WAS GREAT TO SEE A TOWN RECOVER SO QUICKLY AND CONTINUE THEIR TRADITON ON JULY 3RD DOWNTOWN DAVENPORT IOWA HAD ITS ANUAL RED WHITE AND BOOM WITH A BLUES FEST PARADE AND FIREWORKS FOLLOWING THE BASEBALL GAME. I WAS GLAD TO SEE THAT THE MIGHTY MISSISSIPPI DIDNT KEEP THIS IOWA TOWN DOWN.TO KNOW THAT A FEW WEEKS AGO THIS DOWNTOWN AND LECLAIRE PARK WAS FULL OF WATER, TO SEE THOSE FIREWORKS WAS GREAT. I WAS GLAD THEY DIDNT HAVE TO CHANGE AND MY FAMILY DIDNT HAVE TO CHANGE TRADITON BECAUSE OF THE FLOOD
