For Feathers and Explorer:
A reef at the maledives
Parrotfish, bob and weave
Nemo just left the building
Lovebirds dancing over the reflecting waves
The iron fist of a tsunami
Souls in shock and panic, running
Some can't move, frozen
Move my angel and live, take my hand

the artwork of Feathers Boa
Fragile like a rose of glass, smashed by an iron fist. Feathers Boa has the ability to express emotions of a wide variety. To take the observer on a journey into her world, a world full of oxymoron's. From time to time glass splinters cut deep. She watches with shock and awe blood coming out, uncertain what to do next. Noticing drops of blood while she works with sculpties ( SL 3d objects) , Photoshop and creating manichima. Moments of creation and healing, moments when the light of creation comes to darkness.
Feathers Boa shares all this moments with the audience, which can never be certain what to expect next.
Feathers Boa is a student of art and is currently working as a freelancer for game studios. She displays her artwork in Second Life and uses SL as a creative laboratory.
Feathers Boa:
"What I look for is ways to use Second Life as a medium. I want to create something that could not exist in the real world. Something surprising and unique to the virtual world. My work is not always about beauty, but I am obsessed by beauty especially in the female form. I believe that we are seeing a new form of creative expression being born in Second Life and other virtual worlds. There are so many talented people here and the best is yet to come."
