Crisis in Kyrgyzstan |
The Aftermath of the Prosecutor General's Office
- jsarverCNN, CNN iReport intern
As the flames engulfed the Prosecutor General's office, the fire spread into the street. The scene remained generally calm, save for a few momentary panics in reaction to gun fire or sound grenades, which would cause the crowd to either flee or - in the case of those surrounding the square - hide behind the heavy cement pillars in tightly-clinging crowds. Within moments, fear would subside and those who had fled or huddled would laugh it off with an uneasy chuckle.
