    Random shots of the Gap Fire in Goleta, CA. As of tonight (07/05/08), it appears that the fire is going northward, which is away from homes, ranches, and orchards. The ash here in the populated area has been way less today, wind has been mild and friends whose homes have been in the "line of fire" are feeling hopeful. Thank you to our valiant, hard-working firefighters!
