    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     deannereport says she wanted to give insight into a cultural phenomenon: people reliving the pinup era. 'I was there because I love everything Pinup and wanted to experience my first "rockabilly" experience. I also co-hosted a vintage fashion show while there and did some hot rod pinup modeling. I made the video off my flip cam and just wanted to show some of the scenes so others could experience it too.'

    The first weekend of April 2010, thousands flocked to Las Vegas for the 13th Annual Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly weekend. Warning: This is in no means a traditional news report, it's more like a kicker or feature piece showing the world about another "culture" that exists. It's also PG-13.

    Events at the weekend ranged from hot rod car shows to burlesque shows. It's a family friendly event (not the burlesque part of course) and everyone dresses like they live in the 1940's-60's. This is what being a modern day pinup or rockabilly person is all about.
