    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Redgrizz1 said he is a folk singer hoping to do a tour of the UK, but it looks like he won't be able to make some of his tour dates. 'Every minute that passed though, opportunities to get over were closed, as airports and airspace around Europe began to close. Ultimately, we found a route through Canada, leaving next Wednesday and getting me in next Thursday in time for the back half of the tour.' And why this picture of him in a kayak? 'The kayak shot was in my driveway and a response to not having any alternate method of getting to the UK. Along with being a singer-songwriter, I am an avid outdoorsman and kayaker, so it seemed appropriate. My bags were packed, guitar ready to go!'

    Publishers, record labels, vapid   commercialism, illegal downloads,
    and now VOLCANO'S!!!! - Like the  music business isn't hard enough!

    My flight to the UK  was cancelled today due to the ash cloud from the  Icelandic Vocano  enveloping Europe!  Over 6,000 flights canceled today  so far.....So, the  first half of the tour is lost.  I will be flying  over next Thursday  and finishing the back half of the tour.....unless  my alternative mode  of transport makes it out of the driveway earlier!
