    Joe Jamail, famed trial lawyer, on structured settlements

    Attorney Joe Jamail seen here in a video broadcast by The Legal Broadcast Network while in Austin, TX. Most famous for his landmark Pennzoil vs Texaco verdict, Attorney Jamail is a big advocate of protecting injury victims from financial predators and unethical advisors who would squander their money. In this interview he discusses the use of structured settlements and why lawyers of all levels of expertise and experience must consider them when settling a case. If you saw the Nightline interviews of the 9/11 widows and how they squandered the large settlements they recieved, this video will make it clear that there are options available to people at time of settlement to see to it the funds aren't wasted.
