    Russian Aeroflot puts unexpected roommates in single rooms


    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     This iReporter is stuck in Geneva, Switzerland, after his flight home to Moscow today was canceled. He says Aeroflot offered people hotel rooms, but then stipulated that passengers would have to share the room with a stranger. He opted to get a hotel room on his own dime. He considered taking a train to Milan to catch a flight, but all the trains were sold out. 'There were trains, but no tickets. … The station manager, I was advised to ask the train crew to 'fit me in' without a ticket.' He has been rebooked for a flight on Wednesday.

    In the frantic effort to accommodate it's passengers of cancelled flights, Aeroflot gives it's elite passengers Single rooms and after puts other roommates with the ultimatum - you either stay or you free to find yourself other comfortable room and pay for it yourself. Flight 272, Geneva - Moscow has been cancelled on April 17, 2010, it's passengers rebooked for later flights. Elite Plus passengers were given single rooms, but after overwhelming demand, they were given an ultimatum - either to share a single bed with other passengers, or get out.
