Another Beautiful Spring Day in the Rockies of Colorado – Expecting 1 to 2 Feet of Heavy Snow
Evergreen, Colorado – Once again the Front Range Mountains and Foothills west of Denver are under a Winter Storm Warning through Saturday as a winter like storm brings one to two feet of snow to the mountains.
Winter Storm Warnings are also in effect for the Central and western Rocky Mountains to include Vail and Aspen through Saturday afternoon.
If traveling in the mountains, expect hazardous winter travel conditions and possible delay and closures on mountain highways to include Interstate 70 west of Denver and over the Vail Pass. With the heavy wet snow, power outages are also a concern in the mountains and foothills.
