This iReport is part of an assignment:
Sound-off |
TOMORROW IS ANZAC DAY
Tomorrow, our allies down under will remember their war dead.
It should be remembered that Australia has been America's unquestioned ally in almost every conflict we have been involved in for the last 100 years. Australian Army troops have served and fought along side us in Korea, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan.
Their Doctors, Nurses, and Medics have, and continue, to provide care to our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The Australian Army provides regular access for our Marines to train in Australia, with many thousands coming each year for excercises such as Tandem Thrust, Pitch Black, Tailsman Sabre, and Predator Gallop.
Lets all take a moment to thank or staunchest ally of the last century. And remember Australians who have died supporting our political decisions.
Enjoy a nice cold XXXX in their honor.
