    KFC Double Down Looks Better than it tastes

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     deannereport says she hasn't been to a KFC since she was a kid and didn't even know what was on the menu. She decided to try a Double Down, which has bacon and cheese and sauce in the center and two fried-chicken buns. She says she couldn't even finish it and spread the eating over two days. Meanwhile, the price caused her to ixnay her original plans to do a taste-test with the grilled version of the sandwich. She said it wasn't very good and tasted greasy and had too much sodium and so gave it two thumbs down.

    Was really excited to try the new KFC Double Down, but give it two thumbs down. Looked way better in pictures than it tastes. I normally do not like doing negative reviews, but this sandwich was hyped up to be great but I find the 540 calories not worth the $5.40 it costs (maybe it was $5.60?) not to mention it would take running a 5k just to burn that all off.

    This is just a review by a person who hasn't had KFC since her childhood. I definitely have a sweet tooth and not a fan of salty foods, so maybe I'm a bit biased, but I love bacon, chicken and cheese so can't say I didn't give the Double Down a good chance to impress.
