Immigration Protest of Chicago Cubs vs Diamondbacks

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     primeterre says he heard that immigration policy protesters would be demonstrating before the Cubs-Diamondbacks game, so he went out with his camera and took some pictures of the scene. He says he works part-time at a school with a large Mexican-American population, so he feels sympathetic to the protesters' sentiment.
    - nsaidi, CNN iReport producer

Hundreds of immigration advocates protested in front of Chicago's famed baseball cathedral Wrigley Field. They were protesting the harsh new law that will go into effect in Arizona. Protestors urged the Chicago baseball fans to boycott today's game. [April 29, 2010] Around the neighborhoods, individuals were selling extra tickets for as low as $10. Tickets are normally much higher. Carrying placards to support immigration rights, the protesters arrived about 90 minutes before game time and stayed for over an hour. There were no reports of any arrests. Thanks from N. Massel of Primeterre
