NASCAR Project
I love NASCAR. Many people say they love NASCAR but you have to have an unruly passion like the drivers do to really get into it, I think I have that passion. My name is Ashley Bingnear and the reason I love NASCAR is because of that picture I sent in. It is a far away snap shot of my NASCAR project for the 8th grade. It took six months to complete the whole thing, and it took countless hours to finish the 3-D model you see there.
In order to have passed the 8th grade in my classes you had to pass the NASCAR project. The task was to select one driver and to do topics and such about them. I chose Kyle Busch as my driver and he got me straight 100's across the board. It was hard to get into something none of my family knew about but I love the fact that I now understand it better by breaking down the basics and science and history of NASCAR.
I owe all my NASCAR love to the teacher who got me into NASCAR; Mrs. Amy Brown. She likes Dale Jr. and the only reason I chose Kyle Busch was to get on her nerves....now every race I flip to the Race channel and cheer for Kyle because I found out what a great person he his, and I found out what great people the NASCAR drivers are also. Everyone in the NASCAR world puts in 110% and beyond. I only wish that one day I could be face to face with such a dare devil to even talk to or shake hands with.
I couldn't have gotten into NASCAR with out that project....It was the best thing I ever did....and Race days are the best days to live out because you never know what might happen.
I am 14 years old with a wild passion for NASCAR and a new understanding of what drivers and their family's go through. I have shared my passion in the most honest way I can by computer, telling you how I have gotten started into NASCAR. I hope you know my love for it is real and I hope one day I can meat all those drivers, but it would be like winning my own race just to beat thousands of other people in the area to go on such a wondrous adventure of a life time.
