This iReport is part of an assignment:
Running with the bulls |
Did we just run with the bulls?
After the all night street party that is San Fermin, my friend, Ari, and I slept in the streets to get a good place to watch the run. After seeing how crazy it all was, we wanted to experience it first hand. We jumped in as the last bull (we thought) ran by. As we rounded the last corner people began to yell "toro, toro" and, sure enough, there were 2 remaining bulls behind us. With a flurry of shoving and yelling we were almost to the stadium gate when they caught us. I was shoved toward the middle and ended up brushing the last bull's side. It was a pure adrenaline rush! Then, to top it off we entered the ring to a huge applause and the final rocket firing. We both agreed it was one of the best 24 hours of our lives... and probably the stupidest!" If you ever get the chance... GO!
