Faisal Shehzad, what was he thinking?

Before anything I would like to say that I have no opinion on Faisal Shehzad's being innocent or guilty. I believe in our Judicial system and hope that he will recieve a fair trial.

I did a little investigative journalism on my own as Faisal Shehzad and I have a lot in common. We both originally belong to Pakistan, we are about the same age, we both belong to middle class families in Pakistan. We came to the United States in the late 90s to get higher education and stayed here after our education.

From the information I was able to gather, Shehzad is married to Huma Mian has a beautiful daughter. He did his MBA and worked as a financial Analyst. Shehzad is a naturalized US citizen as his wife was one. He was living the American Dream.

I am not a US Citizen yet but  I love the United States as it is my adopted home. This country has given me a lot and I am thankful and I cannot even repay for what its done for me in this lifetime.

I have so many questions on my mind because this story. How can a person is willing to waste everything he has worked for, his life, his education, his great life and jeopardize his family and his children just to prove a point.

The media has cropped pictures of Faisal holding his new born baby. I am posting these pictures I found a social networking website where I found Faisal Shehzad's wife. How can a person hold a child once and fail to realize that life is precious and then try to kill people. Doesnt he think that these people are mothers and fathers of children just like his child? How can a person have so much hatred in his heart?
