Up to speed with Robin Meade |
History
The first memory I have of racing is when I was around 5 years old and always falling asleep in the stands. The I got a bit older and was allowed to run the track and underneath the stands to find treasures with the older kids. The history that remains with NASCAR is amazing. I am now making new memories with my husband who loves NASCAR the same as me. We love the smell of fuel, grease and blown engines! We love the vibration in our chest as the cars roar by! We love the sight of the cars rubbing! We love race season when we can relax Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday watching races all weekend. Most of all we love that the drivers do not forget their history. I am sharing a picture of Tony Stewart racing at our local track on a Saturday night in the offseason. He did not finish well but it was great to see him come back and race with the locals.
