This iReport is part of an assignment:
Is Jesse Jackson relevant? |
Who cares what Jessie says?
No Jessie Jackson does not represent a split in any community let alone the black community. Jessie has never been a force in the political arena. He has just been a loud mouth that some people thought they needed to get the black vote. His run for president was just a self serving campaign as have all of his actions have been. He calls himself a Revern, of what? He should have gave up that title when he had his outside kid. Jesse has not done anything for the black people but ride Dr. Martin Luther Kings coat tail. He needs to go somewhere and get a real job and shut the H-ll up. His statements were pure hateful and envious. He just cannot stand not being in the spot light. I am a 47 year old educated black man and I challenge anyone to show me what Jessie has really done for black people but take their money. He has a lot of nerve talking about Obama talking down to black people when all he did was basically rap in his speeches. I consider that as talking down to me. I am not an Obama supporter nor McCain. I do not vote for any person becuase I beleive they all just say what people want to hear. I am also not a Democrat or Republican, I vote for issues that may or may not affect REAL change. I think Obama would have better served the people (not just black peoeple) in the Senate where he could have made more allies then maybe run for President after the Democrats got more control of the House and Senate.
