Clean, Green & Mean Hot Rod
Want proof that a snarling big-block hot rod can be green?
The Gasser was a huge hit at the 2010 Alternative Fuels and Vehicles Conference this week in Las Vegas. This 427-inch big block monster puts out an estimated 650 horsepower on clean burning, domestically sourced compressed natural gas (CNG).
This cutting-edge CNG Hot Rod has plenty of high-tech tricks up its sleeves, including ABS, traction control, and a quartet of catalytic converters, with two in each custom sidepipe.
America has all the natural gas it needs for centuries to come. Is there a CNG-powered car in your future?
