    Crisis in Bangkok

    UDD's weapons found by cleaning crew and army

    Dear CNN and International friends

    I have been following CNN's report (both TV and online) on Thailand crisis for a week now. All CNN was reporting was :

    - violent clashes between RED protestors (UDD) and the government

    - the army used forces to dissolve the protest

    - the protesters were unarmed

    - people were killed

    - now Bangkok is doing the clean up

    There was never a report that mentioned RED protesters were heavily armed. Moreover, when the cleaning crews and army went in to sweep & secure parameters since May 21st, 2010, they found huge amount of abandoned heavy weapons in;

    1. UDD's camp sites

    2. Patumwanararm temple (near camp site)

    3. Lumpini park

    The VDO that I attached was shot in the Government press conference, showing only partially the weapons, seized from abandoned UDD's campments. Hundreds of press were there. The news was broadcasted all around in Thailand. I even found the VDO myself so easily. And how come CNN failed to report this important evidence?

    CNN's omission on such matter could lead to misinterpretation and prejudice to the government's actions.

    I, as a consumer, would like to see CNN be more professional and more neutral on reporting all facts and findings of the story, especially on such important and delicate matters.
