    Jamaica on Vacation..

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     DaElmer says he traveled to Jamaica in March and plans to do it again. He says he stayed on the north side of the island (the safe side, he notes). 'You have to ALWAY'S think about your safety. You are in another country. We had our children along this year, we choose NOT to leave the resort at night. The resort writes your room number and name down every time you leave the resort. They said in case something happens to you, they have your info.'

    We were on the North Side of Jamaica, no violence on this side.. You remember you are in another country when you see police with automatic weapons..

     

    We were lucky..
