This iReport is part of an assignment:
Campaign 2008 |
Is Barack Obama really black?
Is Barack Obama really black? The picture is of Mr. Obama with his mom (his birth mom).
How can a man with a black father and a white mother be considered black? When the Census was taken back in 2000 in what checkbox did Mr. Obama put his checkmark? Does everyone in America think that if you are from a mixed marriage that the black in you outweighs the white?
If Barack Obama is accused of talking down to those of his own race would he not be talking down to both blacks and whites? Hey America... I've got a great idea... lets not call him a black man or a white man, let's not even call him mixed, let's just call him a HUMAN!
This election shoud not be about electing someone because he is one of us, because he shares our color. It should be because they share our convictions. To feel any other way is... well... NUTS!
