    My name is...Kandi Hardt

    You are seeing that correctly my name is Kandi Hardt (pronounced Hart).  My mother found the name Kandi in a Guidepost magazine in the early 80's and thought if she ever had a girl her name was going to be Kandi.  Low and behold she met my father in 1982 and I became Kandi Hardt.  It is forever a conversation starter, looks eye catching on a name tag and nine chances out of ten provides the inevitable awkward pause from who ever is on the other end of the phone!  I live by one rule and one rule only, the man I marry can't have the last name Kane, Corn or Barr…well a girl could always make an exception!!!
