    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Be sure to check out the “before” photo of closet. Parker Roe says it took about an hour to organize shoes by designer, then about 10 minutes to shoot the video. He calls the iReport assignment a “force for good” because his friend’s closet is so tidy now. Parker says his own shoe collection consists of 10 pairs.

    Assignment:  Shoes -- Featuring the Private Collection of an NYC "Shoeficionada"

     

    Hey there friends…

     

    So, this assignment couldn't have come at a more opportune time.  While visiting a good friend of mine in NYC, I saw Shoes come up and made a request…  You see, my friend has a very extensive high end shoe collection…one she has been amassing for the past five or six years.  The names read off like New York Fashion Week:  Gucci, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Roberto Cavalli, Christian Louboutin, and, of course, Manolo Blahnik…  So I asked her if I might iReport on her collection -- she agreed, thankfully, but on the condition she remain anonymous.  No worries there!!!

     

    Her collection seems vast…a crazy amount of incredible footwear.  There are so many of so many styles…it really is rather remarkable.

     

    And so, she has allowed us all a peek into the world of her shoes.  It truly was a sight to behold…
