Christopher Walken Gets a Hand on Broadway in "A Behanding In Spokane"
- zdan, CNN iReport producer
A BEHANDING IN SPOKANE starring Academy Award winner Christopher Walken and stage and screen stars Sam Rockwell, Anthony Mackie and Zoe Kazan opened Thursday, March 4 and is currently playing a 16 week engagement. It is directed by John Crowley. The production is playing on Broadway at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre NYC (236 West 45th Street).
I have been a fan of Christopher Walken's work for many years. I saw him on Broadway in "James Joyce's The Dead" years ago and now again in "A Behanding in Spokane." He was brilliant in both. He was also kind enough to autograph my playbills after both shows.
Attached are a few pictures I took of him after the show, Friday, May 28, 2010, when he went out to graciously sign a few autographs for the mob of adoring fans hoping to get a closer look and an autograph before he was driven away.
Thank you for your many amazing performances, Mr. Walken.
