Sautee Nacoochee Inaugural 12 Rivers Art Festival

The mountains of Northeast Georgia have long been an arts destination, and the Sautee Nacoochee Community Association celebrates that heritage with the inaugural 12 Rivers Art Festival on Saturday, June 12 from 10 AM until 7 PM.

This first ever juried Festival of fine art and craft features the work of more than 65 artists from across the southeast who will vie for Best of Show and top merit representing exceptional skill in pottery, painting, wood carving, fiber and jewelry, photography, basketry, sculpture and more.

from 10 AM until 7 PM.

Arrayed on the campus of the Sautee Nacoochee Center, the 12 Rivers Art Festival participants will be joined by the region’s best food purveyors and craft brewed beers and wines.

Visitors can sample offerings from the Sautee Nacoochee and Mt. Yonah Vineyards, Sweetwater and Terrapin Breweries and dine on everything from barbecue to baked goods.

The 12 Rivers Art Festival is also an event member of the Northeast Georgia Arts Tour, a four county celebration of art at work, whose Summer Open House Weekend debuts June 11 – 13.

There is no admission charge and parking is free. A complete list of displaying artists, their booth locations, driving directions and keys to special events throughout the day and weekend can be found by logging on to

or by calling the Center at 706-878-3300.

Welcome to the 12 Rivers Art Festival. Visual. Culinary. Tasteful. Art that appeals to all the senses!
