This iReport is part of an assignment:
Flash mob for good |
Super Man- or as close as it gets!
Curiosity leads to awareness, Sarah Evans told us. This is exactly what we're trying to do here...and it works! Before getting involved in Flash Mob for Good I was completely unaware of the Chicago House organization.
Once @MJTam suggested ChicagoHouse.org, I went digging for more information and couldn't help but admire the work of such a great organization. Chicago House provides housing and hope to men, women, and children living with HIV and AIDS who may be homeless, at risk of homelessness, mentally ill, or struggling with substance abuse and poverty. So today I will be playing my version of Super Man (Super Sami!) and try to bring awareness to an incredible organization that needs every help we can provide them with.
I hope this causes your curiosity and encourages you to find out more about Chicago House and other social service agencies that need your help; in any way you can. It counts!
