This iReport is part of an assignment:
Flash mob for good |
What...a whirlwind
Here I am finally home after the Chicago Flash Mob for Good event.
I keep thinking about the adrenaline rush I've had since this amazing event has started and I couldn't be happier.
Being a co-organizer (along with @MJTam from Chicagonista.com) has been an extremely pleasurable experience. I truly think we accomplished what we set out to do: cause curiosity which causes awareness to the social service agencies in our community. People stopped and asked about why we're twirling umbrellas and we got to talk to them and educate them about what we did and why we did it. We hope that this will encourage people to do more in their communities and inspire them to give and reach out to the social service agencies in their communities.
By the way, thanks to Crister (twitter: @CristerDelacruz) for being our in house photographer and to amazing Margaret (twitter: @amcdocumentary) for being our film go to person!
Mission Accomplished!
