    A Time for Fun - Franklin, Indiana Fair

    Saturday, July 13, 2008 was the opening day of our county fair located in Franklin, Indian.   To some the county fair isn't a big deal but to our county it's a much needed break, after suffering from major floods here in the mid-west.  Our county is one of the 27 in Indiana labeled a disaster. 

     

     

    The opening day of the fair started with 4-H events, Little Miss and Mr. Johnson County Contest, Miss Johnson County Contest and best of all the Hot Air Balloon Race.  I've attached some photographs for your enjoyment.  What is  a summer without fair food and seeing old friends?
