Is bigger really better? Micro brews thrive without expansion
I think plenty of good brewers exist in the united States but these are mostly micro breweries. Budweiser may be iconic and widespread but that's almost exclusively because of their brand design and marketing, not the taste of their beer.
I won't lie. I have had a couple Buds on occasion when nothing else is offered if I'm at a sporting event or some such venue but therein lies the problem: Bud is very cheap and has huge financial capital to throw at advertising, making it impossible for smaller breweries to get a foot in the door at events
Still, people are somehow paying more and more attention to microbrews. Could it be that the average Joe Sixpack is somehow getting sick of less-filling, smooth, watery beer?
