    2010 Superman Celebration costume contest

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     This event for Superman fans has been taking place for 32 years and scott54170 has been going for four years. This year they unveiled a new statue of Lois Lane.

    Metropolis Illinois held it's annual superhero costume contest as part of its' Superman celebration.  Contestants were able to enter catagories such as: hero, villian, duo/group, Supergirl/Lois Lane, or Superman/Clark Kent.  Top prize in the contest is $1000.  This year's winner was Alexander Rae with his Christopher Reeve looking Clark Kent.
