Are you a Millionaire in the Making?[1] |
Post Tramatic Stress Disorder with Women in All Branches of the Military
I'm a Veteran Woman that served my country from 1975 to 1979 in the United States Air Force. I'm now in a program from PTSD in Ft. Thomas. Kentucky.
I now realize I'm not alone with my situation in the Military. I have met several other females, young, old, Air Force, Navy, Mariens, Army and National Guards that have suffered extremely bad sexual harassement and even rape while serving their country. Some on the front line in Iraq.
I feel especially sorry for the babies - in their 20s. The nightmares and medication to cover the traumatice events while in the Military. The public needs more information about these horrible events.
I learned a new term today MST - Military Sexual Trauma. It seems to be 80% of the women that go into the service comes out with a memory that they are forced to sweep under the rug. I swept my MST under the rug for 29 years. It's time to speak out about this on-going tragedy.
There are several women in my present program that are homeless. Why, after serving your country are we homeless - in America?
Can someone hear my cry... Linette Eady--513-344-7373....Call me and share your story..
