    Burms Could Work Better

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     billysweez traveled from Oakland, California, to Grand Isle, Louisiana, because he wanted to see the oil spill for himself. "It was a little more than what I expected," he told me.
    - davidw, CNN iReport producer

The first picture is of a berm that was pushed up onto shore and is no longer protecting the island, hopefully it was done by the storm and will be fixed tomorrow. The second picture is the reason why the berms MUST be working because the oil will not stop coming ashore until the leak stops! And the last picture is of a berm that has become unanchored leaving that side of the island defenseless.
