Gulf Oil Spill-Teens Raising Money
Matt Pierce, a high school senior from Bradenton, FL and Stone Harbor, NJ has started a non-profit called TeenagersCare.org to build awareness about the Gulf Oil Spill, raise money and talk about issues important to teens. His goal is to raise $100,000 by the end of the summer to go to grassroots organizations in the Gulf that are helping to save wildlife, clean up wetlands and beaches and people in need of assistance. You can find out more about Matt and the Gulf Oil Spill at TeenagersCare.org. He wants to get 10,000 teens to give $10.00 each. You can also purchase really cool t-shirts and make a donation!
