    13-year old Stabbed at Paramount High School

    A 13-year-old boy was stabbed by another student at Paramount High  School Tuesday morning.

    Authorities responded to the school on 14708 Paramount Boulevard at 9:18  a.m.

    According to the L.A. County Fire Department, the teen was transported  to Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, where he is listed in critical  condtion.

     

    Another 13-year-old boy was detained for allegedly stabbing the teen.

    Paramount High School was placed on lock-down while deputies looked for  the knife and questioned three witnesses.

    The school is in summer session.

    Deputies don't know if the violence was gang related.
