    The Scooter & Me

    At my very first baseball game in 1985, I was lucky enough to meet Phil "The Scooter" Rizzuto and Frank Messer.  My father (right) had gotten tickets from work and the company box was next to the broadcasting booth.  I had been listening to Phil announce on TV for as long as I could remember watching baseball and to get a "Holy Cow! Nice to meet you" was something that I will always remember and cherish.
