    Roasted Pig Parade

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Sherbien got in the water-gun crossfire at the St. John the Baptist Day celebrations in Balayan, Philippines, this morning. St. John is the patron saint of the area. The water squirting signifies the baptism of Jesus by St. John the Baptist. 'To make the festival more exciting, town folks offers lechon (roast pig) to St. John, the Baptist. They dress the lechon and bring it to the church,' he said.
    - zdan, CNN iReport producer

Parada ng Lechon or Roasted Pig Parade is celebrated in Balayan, Batangas every 24th of June.  Hundreds of dressed roasted pigs are paraded on the streets and while the parade is going on, participants and audience wet each other by throwing water to each other because this festival coincides also with the feast of their patron saint, St. John, the Baptist.

This festival is fun and mouth watering.
