Karen Lowry: The Seventh Inning Sit: A Journey of ADHD"
As a parent advocate, Karen Lowry is a force to be reckoned with in terms of helping parents of ADHD children navigate the school system, and never take No for an answer when it comes to lobbying for a child's right to a quality education.
Colleagues that have worked with Karen, say her expertise about ADHD and her vigilance in advocating for her children is inspirational. Through taking Karen's classes, many parents have learned that ADHD is a disability that affects their children in every aspect of their lives, and if they don't stand up for their kids, no one else will.
Karen Lowry holds a B.S. N. degree in nursing from the College of New Jersey and a masters degree in pediatric nursing from the University of Pennsylvania. One of her most rewarding experiences has been working as a staff nurse in pediatric intensive care unit a Philadelphia's Children's Hospital.
