This iReport is part of an assignment:
Undecided voters |
Lesser of 2 Evils
Why am I undecided? Unfortunately it's not so much that I'm undecided but that I've decided not to choose either candidate. Competition for the presidency has turned into a simple marketing campaign driven to attract as many simple-minded voters as possible. I'm not purchasing cereal here, I'm choosing the leader of one of the most influential countries in the world.
Who cares where they went to school or what color they are? Personally I'm more likely to vote for someone who went to state college than someone who went to Harvard. We all know getting into a school like that is a game of who you know.
When will we get rid of "politicians" in favor of real people who are not 100% motivated by money? The current candidates will say whatever it takes to get to the presidency and then what? Will they keep their promises? No one has in a long, long time so why should we expect any different?
Until there is a candidate worthy of my vote I will remain undecided.
