    Can we legalize ATVs for street riding?

    I live in Liberty Missouri.  My husband and I own 3 Atvs and the laws are such in Missouri that they are not legal to ride on the street.   They are legal however in some states.  Why not make them legal in ALL states?  I don't understand the difference between my ATV and a motorcycle as far as street legalization. In fact my ATV has 4 wheels, much safer to ride!  A town in northern Missouri has recently legalized golf carts to ride in town, but not on the highways.  Every little bit helps and I wish Missouri would  at least consider "in town" legalization of ATVs.
