Freedom Days Picnic
The Opening Ceremonies of Freedom Days Picnic in Celina, Ohio featured a procession of several carefully restored Army trucks, track vehicles with mounted guns and amphibious vehicles. The Freedom Days Picnic is a yearly event orchestrated by the American Legion 210, Celina Eagles Aerie 1291, Celina Moose Lodge 1473 and Eichar DeCurtains VFW 5713 to honor all veterans. The three day event features free entertainment including concerts, rides, and fireworks.
Two Huey Helicopters were flown in by the American Huey 369 Organization, which was formed for the specific purpose of preserving Huey Aircraft 369 and Huey Aircraft 803 / Warrior 11 into flying museum aircraft, that with it's members will educate all generations to the history of the American made Huey in Vietnam.
