    HURRICANE ALEX IN MONTERREY, MEXICO

    Monterrey is Mexico’s third largest city.

    Mexico’s President has declared Monterrey a disaster area.

    Cars, roads, bridges and even residents have swept away in this catastrophe.

    It is expected to take 6 months for just the cleaning operations and at least two years for reconstruction.

    The storm damage from Hurricane Alex didn’t seem to make much international news.
