    World Cup Final...at the North Sea Jazz Festival

     

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     istephanie watched the World Cup on Sunday at the North Sea Jazz Festival in Rotterdam. She says they stopped the performances so the crowd could watch the game. istephanie said you could hear a pin drop when Spain scored the winning goal and that people seemed shocked. There were people crying after the game, but she said most seemed to cheer up when the music started back up and Stevie Wonder, Nas and Damien Marley performed. "You can't be sad too long when they're playing," she told me.

    The World cup finals coincided with the last evening of the North Sea Jazz Festival in Rotterdam yesterday!!

    Due to the overwhelming "Jazz fans Football supporters", for around 2 hours, jazz gave way to football at the North Sea venue!

    Before the match, fans are preparing nervous... yet hopeful!

    During the match, they hold their breath and cheer at every lost spanish opprtunity until...
