    D'Iberville Mississippi is a small town that sits just north of Biloxi on the Back Bay.  It is the first city on the Mississippi Gulf Coast to use Biofilter boom.  Thise boom is made from recycled materials and coated with microoraganisms that can break down oil.

     

    The work men are placing poles to keep the boom in place.  They told me the boom  would not be placed until after Tropical Storm Bonnie passes through.
