This iReport is part of an assignment:
Did you see 'Dark Knight?'
The Dark Knight - Speechless Justice
Not very often does a movie come along that breaks not only what you think a genera of movie should be limited to but sets a new standard for all movies. Thanks to all who have done comic book movies justice.
I went to a midnight showing dressed up like the Joker at the Mall of America. I was the only person their dressed up but every one seemed to enjoy it.
I am a long time comic book fan but have been discerning of the movies, although I have been looking forward to it I have been skeptical as far as the hype surrounding it waiting to see the movie for myself.
Saying that it exceeded my expectations would be a gross understatement. This was a brilliant masterpiece of art. On so many levels, the writing the direction the action, the writing the make up the stunts the pyrotechnics everything. There were several times in the theater where I would look to my husband in speechless shock on just how well it was done. Batman Begins sparked my expectations of a comic book movie done right. The Dark Knight has no equal. A new standard has been set.
I have never been to a movie before where people cheered, clapped and laughed so much and so enthusiastically.
A warning for those with small children, this is a cinematic piece of art. Please be warned that the dark knight truly lives up to its name. It contains graphic and violent scenes that are psychologically powerful and not recommended for young viewers.
Batman fans or not this movie is a brilliant masterpiece of art. You have to see it while it is on the big screen. This very well may be the biggest movie of our generation, and we may not see anything like it again.
