My opinion on War log leak
- katie, CNN iReport producer
I understand the need and desire by the public for information on what the military has done in Afghanistan and to hold the US government responsible for its actions in Afghanistan. However, the leak of the "War logs" is wholly irresponsible and puts the lives of our troops at risks in Afghanistan. This is the worst thing you can do during a conflict, and that is telling your enemy (and the world) your inside scoop. The government needs to be held accountable, BUT, we owe it to our brave men and women to protect them and our mission.
